We use some of the most advanced AI models (Claude): identification and diagnosis are very reliable. They’re still a guide, though: for delicate cases, an expert’s opinion is always worth it.

What is Gemma?

Gemma is Greenkeep’s AI botanist assistant: a chat for each of your plants that knows its species, care plan and history. Ask it why leaves are yellowing or how much water to give. It’s included in Premium.

Which plants does it recognize? Outdoor ones too?

Accepted Answer

It recognizes thousands of species, indoor and outdoor. After identifying a plant, it generates a care plan tailored to it in your environment.

Can I really use it for free?

Yes. The Free plan is free forever: unlimited plants, calendar, reminders and a monthly allowance of AI actions (identifications, care plans, diagnoses). Premium removes the limits and unlocks Gemma.

Are my photos and data safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We handle your data in line with the GDPR/nFADP. Photos are used only to identify and diagnose your plants, nothing else.
